Ministry is the heartbeat of the Hulman Street Assembly and every ministry must please the heart of God. Therefore, every ministry is faithful to the vision "Loving God, Loving Each Other, and Loving the Lost". We invest our time, talents and resources into fulfilling this vision.
Children's Ministry
Flight Center is the name of our Children's Ministry for ages 4 to 12. We call it "F.L.I.G.H.T. Center" because we are preparing children to live a life that makes them ready for the final flight - a trip to heaven. Our children's ministry team team is dedicated to teaching children biblical principles and the Word of God while having a lot of fun along the way.
Every Sunday Morning is like a kids crusade with high energy praise and worship, puppets, games, prizes and a God inspired message. Come fly with us!!!
Fully Living In God's Holy Truth
On Wednesday evenings, Children can attend "Wednesday Knights". The Knights are taught Bible lessons but also enjoy a time of hands-on activites including games and crafts. It is a great mid-week adventure for the children.
Youth Ministry
The youth at HSA are involved in ministry around the church and they are an integral part of the body of Christ. This ministry is full of life and energy and points teens in the right direction for life. Our youth group meets every Sunday morning following the adult worship service.
Music Ministry
The Bible clearly tells us that our praise and worship of our Creator is to include singing and instruments. Each of our services contain a harmonic blend of traditional and contemporary worship styles along with several original pieces of music. The Bible says that God inhabits (makes His home in) the praises of His people and therefore we take worship of Him very seriously. He desires that we worship Him in Spirit and in truth. As you attend our worship services, you will sense the power of God in your life during praise and Worship. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord! Praise Him all ye people!
Outreach Ministry
Most of the ministry in the Bible did not happen in the temple, synagogue, or in the church building. Most of ministry took place on the street, at the market place, or in the home. Therefore we must take the gospel from within our church to the world.
Nursing Home Outreach
Hulman Street Assembly regularly ministers in the nursing home environment. Often times the residents of these homes are overlooked, outcast, and forgotten. We feel that these are the kinds of places Jesus would go if He were walking the earth today.
Food Ministry Outreach
Another of our outreaches is being able to provide assistance to those in need of food. Many times Jesus met the physical needs of people before meeting their spiritual needs. Each time we share our food with others, we make sure they are introduced to Jesus. He is the only One who can really satisfy their hunger.
Prison Outreach
Prison ministry takes place in the jail or prison setting. These souls are often forgotten or labeled as a lost cause. However, Jesus said to preach the gospel to every creature, not just the ones we choose.
Children's Outreach
Our desire is to host special outreaches especially for the children. In the past we have hosted a Kids Carnival in the neighborhood elementary school yard, Harvest Parties, Kids Crusades, and other special events. Looking past all the fun is real ministry and that's what it's all about.
Sermon Outreach
The anointed messages that are preached at Hulman Street travel around the country and the world. The Word of God is timeless and transcends all languages and cultures. Nursery Ministry
A fully furnished nursery is available for your use during every service at Hulman Street Assembly. You may choose to remain with your child or leave them in the care of our loving nursery staff. Children ages birth through 4 years are welcome. Children ages 2 to 4 will have their own special teacher to spend the entire service with them. Not only are the little ones carefully watched, but they enjoy a wonderful time of ministry as well. They are read stories of Jesus, they learn songs of praise to Him, and they pray with the nursery staff.
Bus Ministry
Our beautiful shuttle bus is just the ticket for those who need a ride to church. With it's low step, high head room, and perimeter seating, it is just perfect for those without transportation.
